I really hope he does.

Extremely excited for tonight :D

On a serious note everyone the discount list is full and presales are sold out so if you plan on getting tickets definitely arrive early.

Heading out now!

I'm mentally preparing myself for a very long presale line. :/

Did you ever make it? I followed my usual rule either very early or very late. Chose early, got there too early - hit no traffic. But it's OK, they had a special on double drinks :)

I don't know what time he went on, but his set ended at 5am. I assume 3-4 hours.

I got in line at 12:30. I got inside at 1:50. At least I had time to buy a shot and a drink before the bars closed. There really should be a separate line for presales. Waiting in the general line just doesn't make sense. Like I said in my earlier post, I was mentally prepared for it though. It does get pretty annoying when washers go straight to the front because they grease the bouncers every week, but whatever.

I got my drink and went to the balcony because the line to get into the main room already looked like a pain. Got a nice viewpoint on the railing and stayed there until about 3am.

Then I decided to go wait for the main room. It was irritating and took a long time for them to let me through, even when I got to the front of the line. And you have to watch people grease the bouncers right in front of you and get let in. Maybe I was just angry, but if I'm the owner of the club I don't see any of that money, and if it's truly because of capacity control then you're breaking the fire code by accepting the bribes and should be fired for putting the club in danger, period. But hey, money talks.

Anyway, I got into the main room at about 3:30. The last hour of Sasha's set (4-5am) was by far the best. He really got into his groove.

All in all, I was expecting more from Sasha. I'm probably just spoiled by Digweed going until 7am and playing such an awesome set. Sasha'a set was good, but ultimately not all that memorable.

The closing DJ rocked, though. I wanted to leave at 5, but I ended up staying until 6 because he kept playing great tracks. That was a pleasant surprise.

There has been a separate line for presales these past two weeks, at least at the time I went there. It's the white tent on the right side; the line breaks for the parking lot entrance and continues past it. Last week at 11pm it was a <1 hour wait, and yesterday at 9:40 it was a 3 minute wait. You get into the club from the Spider room entrance, then to the upstairs smoking area.

The main area was definitely over capacity at pre capacity control levels. And I saw more people coming into it through the exit or from upstairs than from the entrance.

Sorry, I didn't notice when Sasha came on; it was a smooth transition.

The line with the white tent becomes the general admission line at 11pm I think. I asked when I got there and they said presales and GA wait in the same line because the presale line "expired". I know it says this when you buy the ticket, so I was expecting it, but I still think it's stupid.

Either way, I had a good time. Once inside the sound and lighting were great as usual.
