newsflash, after listening to the first transition a dozen times, I agree with yonny. even though I beatmatched properly, I introduced the 2nd track too soon so that's why that first transition sounded nasty.

I said I'd believe yonny if he had more people - he has 3. that's enough, and that's all I wanted.

It took you a dozen listens to pick out your horrible trainwreck? How the can you learn to beatmatch and not hear the tiness of that transition straight away?

Bad publicity is still publicity. But now people are less likely to listen to your mixes.

No, but if they say that every single transition sucked, I'm going to have a problem with that and ask a few more people to agree with him.

Adam420
Well that first transition is definitely not beat matched properly. I think why you're having a hard time digesting others calling it a "train wreck" is because it isn't as overly unpleasant on the ears as some train wrecks can tend to be (my guess due to the music being so soft and mellow).

Anyway I guess I can leave it playing for a bit as see how the rest pans out.

edit: ok I'm quite convinced that not only can you not mix, but you don't even really seem to understand mixing in the first place. Case in point: 18:20 in the mix. Like seriously, what the is that? Yes, you do tend to select some pretty quality tunes, which I respect, but I definitely think you should take some time to figure out what mixing is all about and how it's done, before continuing to post more sets.

Oh and one more thing Matt, usually when people start listening to a mix and the first transition/first few transitions are this bad, they will not listen to the rest of the set.
Mattinsanity
if you think the transition from the 3rd track to the 4th is bad, then it proves you have a different ear for transitioning, a whole different ear. I can't even believe that's being picked on. I'll anticipate your whole review.
