well to put it in perspective, it is the best sound system i have ever heard but on the other hand i haven't heard too many sounds systems. i guess you'll have to come out and find out for yourself.

you know, I will do that. Then I can tell u, if it ownz or not..

either way, Sven will hopefully take that place apart :D

Umek is weird. i saw him twice this summer, one time, he played really nice stuff, the other time it was wikked boring.

Liebing, on the other hand, has yet to disappoint me.. ahh.. local talent :D

maybe you should let them know about that?

I mean, from the general tenor in Europe, it appears that most Techno DJ's don't think it is worth to come to the US, since Trance is much more popular.

Take DJ Rush for example, he is origianlly from Chicago, but, as a friend of mine told me, he never plays in the US anymore, since no-one over here knows him, while in europe, he is DA MAN!

there is definitely a techno scene in new york. we may not have heard of these djs but their music will be appreciated. we won't know european techno unless they get their asses over here and start touring.

I have heard hawtin.. twice, I was kinda impressed.. but the problem was that i had a 'biased' oppinion of what he played twice..

or to put it differently:

'my judgement was clouded', but from what i remember, he has some schweet mixing.
