Im not really a fan, but it was nice seeing all the footage from the early days. Please, somebody ID that track at 10:45 :toothless

Are people seriously now comparing Hawtin to Deadmau5? What, is he next up on the Tiesto, Armin, Deadmau5 "they got famous so now let's hate them!" train? The guy produces and plays great music. It's funny that the people criticizing him the most are the ones who subscribe to essentially the same style of music, but from people who haven't yet become as famous as Hawtin. Apparently he's the next "cool" thing to hate.

His Plastikman live show is the ing , I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing and so did my non-EDM listening friends.

Don't pretend you know anything about Hawtin, trance cracker. No one's comparing him to deadmau5, either.

I'm seeing him at Electric Zoo on Labor Day weekend for the first time. Plastikman Live show on Friday, and then regular set on Saturday. :D

And don't pretend you know anything about my musical taste. And I'm sure it was just a coincidence that Nef said the "Leave Deadmau5 alone," style post. It's pretty funny actually. Like clockwork, people love an artist, the artist becomes famous, people hate the artist. It's sad, really.

Awesome documentary. Thank you.

This was a really interesting watch, despite the cringey-at-times narration. Some really great music as well.

Not the biggest fan of minimal music but Richie Hawtin is one producer I will listen to.
