Bass Sound Recreation

Hey Guys,

This might seem like a very basic sound to some of you but I've been trying to recreate it and not getting it quite right.
Thought it might just be a sawtooth wave with added distortion but anyone else shed some light?

around 00.36 in here.

think it sounds similar to 2.31 here too?

Appreciate any help guys!

To start, layer several oscillators (maybe 2 saws and a square), detune them, and add osc sync to get that aggressive biting sound.

Thats indeed where I would start, but also, I think you should drop the saw waves several semitones. mess with the filter envolope to get the right phase going until it sounds like what you want it to. This sound would be pretty easy to recreate on vanguard, if you have it.

I would try a flanger with the rate all the way down on various amounts of delay on top os said saws and squares.

only listened to the first link:2 layer of basses there, one lower octave sinish/trianglish to give it the house oomph.

second top harmoic layer is open to interpretation, squarish waveforms with distortion effects (Tube / Tape, Digital, Bitcrush)

Cheers Guys!
It was the sync that was catching me out- I couldn't find it on NI Massive, but I was trying out the above technique on FAW Circle and got a very similar sound with the wave sync button! Cheers!
