Is there a market for souful house in Toronto?

| It surprises me that big names like Rasmus Faber, Richard Earnshaw, Chuck Love (and so many others) in the soulful house genre have never played in Toronto before. Personally i'd pay good money to see any of the above and wondered if from a promoters perspective if anyone has considered bringing this flavour of house more predominantly into the Toronto scene. Or if anyone would like to see this form of house more readily available on an average weekend. (Too me this music just begs summer patio/boat cruise etc) |

| is it a strong enough market to pack clubs on a consistent basis...not yet but would definitely love to see some more soulful house DJ's coming by this city. |

I'd say no. Most people who listen to this kind of music are in their 30s, and only really come out for bigger parties that happen a few times a year, where they know the rest of the people they used to party with will come out too.
I could be generalizing here, but this is my observation. |
