This month we feature a veritable arsenal of fresh music diving headfirst into King King. A duo that's no stranger to us here at Plastic Love in the form of Throne Of Blood's own Cosmic Kids along with a pair of DJs from Montreal whose productions are currently making their way through our collective record bags, Prince Club.
PRINCE CLUB are two young dj/producers who have been attracting a certain amount of attention. In less then a year, the two have already released two EP's, which were instantly supported by industry heavyweights JORIS VOORN, RIVA STARR, JESSE ROSE, THOMAS SCHUMACHER, STYLE OF EYE, BRODINSKI, 2000 AND ONE, DJ ZINC, NOIR, UNER, and the whole DISCOBELLE crew. With numerous club and festival gigs under their belts, including Montreal's prestigious electronic music festival, IGLOOFEST, PIKNIC ELECTRONIK and the recent NUITS SONORES in Lyon, France, PRINCE CLUB are quickly securing their position among the Major Leaguers. COSMIC KIDS Ron Poznansky and Dan Terndrup didn’t meet in outer space as their DJ moniker may indicate, but the story is still equally as good. The two met in a high school classroom meant for kids who had trouble paying attention. They bonded over their love of classic rock. Right out of high school they both volunteered to work at the Los Angeles radio station KCRW. Known for its eclectic programming, the friends were exposed to all different kinds of music, and began collecting and consuming records, feeding their ever-expanding appetite for music.
Cosmic Kids and Prince Club will be teaming up with us here at Plastic Love to bring a rather rocking party to King King going from disco to house to techno and back.
