wait a minute...afrojack event thread gets posted july 25th and event is on a thursday and there were no posts and the show sold out but
this event got posted july 9th, and its on a saturday and there are 2 dozen posts and not sold out? arent you all bringing your friends?
guess the TA community just doesnt know how to pick em anymore.
or maybe they are ashamed to post that they are going to see afrojack :tongue2 |

| you make a pretty interesting point. of course an afrojack event will sell out, but i had a similar thought earlier. i was afraid this party would sell out- the talent is so fantastic and somehow the 'presale' tix are still selling. my only minor gripe - i wish this party didn't have an arbitrary 6am ending time. with so many great djs it'd be nice to see "10pm - ???" |

| LAPD/Firemarshalls cracking down. avalons been hit earlier in the year, music box got hit last week, the kaskade fiasco. just seems like the venues have to tippy toe and anything remotely not by the book is reason to get shut down. |

i don't think this event will go over capacity though. it's great lineup but not a commercial lineup (like Afrowhack). |

did you see the avalon lineup though? im guessing the people who know the music are bringing their friends over the music box as opposed to another avalon night.
there is no "dg mag top 100" style dj so people will be more willing to go check something else out. I know some of my la people are headed over there and bringing their friends to check it out. |
