buying club tickets

buy online or buy on the island?
i think i prefer to buy on the island but i guess im asking in case anything is in jeopardy of selling out. i dont mind buying a few online if need be. but if its not necessary then i wont. |

from everything I have gathered, unless you are going to SHM or FMIF then there is no reason to buy ahead.
when I went most events are cheaper on the street than they were online
You know, one thing I like about Ibiza is the professionalism at the door, the bar, and anywhere else they take money in the club. There is no crap at the door, they just look at your ID, see if you purchased tickets or are on the guest list on their computer and let you right in. The line runs smoothly and the people using the computers at the door know what they are doing. |

yea thats kinda what i had figured too. last time we bought tickets for cream at amnesia and tiesto at privilege and while we got in super quick it really didnt make much of a difference. kind of wish we had bought on the island for the free bus ride. |

ALWAYS BUY ON THE ISLAND!
two reasons....
1. Usually cheaper
2. Gets you free stuff like drinks, posters, cd's, free buses to the club if bought from official preparties..... |

all the parties i went to last time only did buses. but it, thats good enough for me! |

depends where u go... but usually there is free stuff to be had, especially for the smaller less popular clubs |

elaborate. When I was there, I saw signs on the street that pointed in a store for tickets and by my standards the stores looked somewhat shady to be handing lots of money over for a ticket.
Do you mean official stores like an Amnesia store or any storefront that says they sell tickets.
The only place I bought tickets from was Cafe Mambo, i trusted that as it was an official pre party spot |

people promoting tickets for a store is different, stores around the island can look shady trust me i've been to many shady spots. I can't guarantee that every store is legit so if you don't feel comfortable buying it from there then look for another shop, there are soo many
or just pick them up from pre parties |

I always buy my tickets at the same place (New Garden - Sissi's Bar in Playa den Bossa).
The prices are mainly the same everywhere... just look the prices when walking around.
For the cheapest and even free entrances (not for FMIF or SHM of course) stay an afternoon on Salinas beach (Sa Trinxa,...) or wait for some party promotion team to come in place like Bora Bora,...
You'll make great deals, but you often to enter the club early to get good price. |
