anyone else find pro-53 to have a tendency to crash your DAW? I bought komplete5 a couple years ago, and haven't really used pro-53 all that much until recently...I really like its sound, but I find my projects are at least 70% more likely to crash whenever I'm using it. it's fully up to date and everything.... :conf: |

Yes. A lot of the K5 stuff crashed on me. But I updated and now they don't. |

I haven't used the NI synths a great deal, but haven't had any crash issues with them the times I have used them.
I am impressed that you were able to measure the crash instances as having increased by 70% though! |

It has never crashed the DAW, but it has gone into serious feedback at times and it has also sometimes not bounced to audio correctly. Oddly the workaround was to make sure I had triggered the midi for it by just playing the DAW where midi parts for it were positioned in the arrange window before bouncing the full mix. Weird.
In the end I gave up and just bought a Prophet V........ just kidding ;) |
