I don't want to be too brutal about this, there are some cool ideas and decent parts, but the kick drum just doesn't stand up to anything playing in clubs at the moment in my opinion. It's a rather dry, preset sounding kick. It connects with almost no bass in your bassline that plays with the track.
4:40 is the part I have the biggest problem with, because it is a lot of really bad digital distortion, it's a big mess right there. Not really the kind of harmonic distortion you would want, very brittle. The kick/bass in the background just seems to drone on a bit, sorry just a little lost in the middle of that because it's so inharmonic to me.
Just very inharmonic especially in the main meat of the tune. Sorry, not an attack, and apologies if you don't agree, just my opinion ;) |
