was not expecting to see Sade on that list. still, i see what you mean. it's a bit strange that the term comes to refer to a pleasant kind of sonic mud.

| stuff without sharp edges that sounds like it could be real instruments, or at least synths that are less mechanical and more natural sounding, like if you Humanize and use a random lfo. In 'organic' stuff you'll generally find subtle human error |

| to me organic sound means real instruments or samples of it used instead of synthesis. hiphop (oldschool of course) is more "organic" than techno for instance (imo). |
