To the OP, have you seen Blackberry's new tablet? It s all over the iPad. I made a thread about it a month or so back.

I thought it was a joke thread. You wuz srs?

:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:

C'MON, you're joking, right? :stongue: Hold up, let me catch my breath :stongue: Oh, you got me good. BlackBerry! pad! that can't get email without being tethered! LMAO! The one that no store has been able to sell. The one that they made 500,000 of at loss, figuring they'd make up for it other ways and it's still not selling, right?

You mean the ones that even hard-core developers are walking away from?

The one that industry has written off entirely as one of the biggest flops, on par with Vista and other abominations? Heck, I take back "horrid abortion" tag away from Xoom, in favor of attaching it to Playbook.

I'm still laughing tho

"Balsillie also acknowledged that the April launch of the company’s tablet computer could have gone better. RIM got poor reviews on the Playbook and about 1,000 of the devices had to be recalled because of defective software. The company said it shipped about 500,000 of the tablets in its fiscal first quarter.

“The PlayBook launch did not go as smoothly as we had planned,” he said."

...and I'm RIMM shareholder (no, not "short" variety).

I'd have thought someone in an IT-based job would have a clue. . As numerous others have said, Asus make some of the most highly rated components there are. It's been a while since I've built a computer from scratch, but when I do, my tech man and the guys at the supply shop always, always recommend Asus parts.

SHHH! Don't let facts get in the way of his trolling.

"While VW may have taken home the most awards, others had reason to celebrate as well. Hyundai managed to rack up an average score so high for its 2011 Sonata that the agency had to verify its data several times to be sure it was accurate. The Sonata scored 860, the highest ever recorded in the 14-year history of the study in any segment.

“Typically we do not include ‘early-next-calendar-year’ launch models in our current calendar year studies, but in the case of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata, its performance was so outstanding we created a new “Special Total Value Award” just to recognize a truly superior Value accomplishment,” says Strategic Vision founder and chairman Darrel Edwards, Ph.D.

What do we know. AssRussel has spoken so it must be true, I guess everyone's wrong. I'm just going to sulk here in the corner, dreaming of owning a Kia and holding an iPad.

I had a look at one of these the other week just out of interest sakes because its a good idea, they're really well made but the OS/interface was too annoying and buggy.

Yeah, Kias are horrible cars, that's why they offer a 7 year warranty.

As is the Equus - Hyundai's competitor to the 7 series and the S class at a fraction of the cost. From what I hear, the car is fantastic and can compete on pretty much all fronts with it's counterparts.

The Genesis also won several 'Car of the year awards' and Hyundai's warranty is currently among the best in the business.

This Russell chap is one of those who falls prey to marketing campaigns and craves status because of the 'brand' factor that is embedded into our heads.

In other words:

LOL@ Russell comparing Asus and Acer together!! :haha: I though this tard was in the IT business?:wtf:

I'm a huge Android fanboy and I was in the market for a tablet a month ago, and I decided to go with an iPad 2. Why? Because IMO it's the only good tablet in a ty sea of tablets that includes the Transformer, Tab 10.1, Xoom and Playbook.

Android is a great OS, but on the tablet front it sucks ass. It really does.

It sucks because NOBODY is making tablet apps for Honeycomb. Meanwhile, everyone is making tablet-specific apps for the iPad. Without a suite of tablet-apps the Android tablets are nothing but larger smartphones.

On my iPad I can read any of the New York papers in a great tablet-designed format. I have the Daily. I have tons of iOS-only games to kill time. I have scores of other iPad-only apps that work great.

Apple also has already designed a suite of apps for the iPad (beyond the basics like email/web) that are quality programs like Garageband and iMovie.

Meanwhile on Honeycomb, you get flash (probably the only thing I wish the iPad had), but other than that, tablets are meant to be content-consumption devices and Apple's product wins across the board. Honeycomb (and eventually Ice Cream too) just don't have the content to compete on Apple's level in the tablet space. The app selection sucks compared to iOS.
