I was wondering if anyone might be able to assist on a unusual situation with a song im in work with.
I used the wanderer arp in ableton on a string section of the song.
At first...it sounded beautiful,I recorded the demo..all is good.
But now, when I load up the project and play it, it takes on the original effect but then evolves into something completely different than the original.
Honestly, I have no idea why as I didnt change anything and saved it.
Is there a way to find out what is happening?
Here is a clip of what it "should" sound like: *note arp comes in at 01:37
Goodbye
Here is what it turned into
Goodbye Arp change
Anyone out there lend a hand? |

Yeah make sure you turn the red button off on the track. I've noticed that with other things like sending to delays, not too sure why this happens? |

Hmm....by that you mean in session view on the track , the little red button for arm chair recording?
If so, that is not it as none of my tracks are armed |

It is pretty messed up like, it could be issues with the instrument rather than the arp.. Is it a rompler your using for the strings?
Try taking a note out of the chord it might not affect the arp pattern not the ideal solution as it really aint a fix but got no idea whats gone on there tbh.
If its just a random thing you would be to record a couple of takes and then cut and paste the good bits back together, again not the solution your after but as a last resort it would work if you wanted to keep it in your track. |
