Have you ever had monk fish? I always thought it tasted similar to lobster.

that's good . i believe it's because they feed on lobster, thus their meat has that similar taste.

lol... I bet I will go the rest of my life and never hear another person say "I have some monk fish in my freezer." Where do you get it... local seafood market?

cuttlefish is nasty, I agree. My least favorite fish is cod.

chinese fish market has everything.

july 8 (two weeks ago this friday)
they life-flighted me to the hospital, did a couple of emergency surgeries, spent a few days getting me stabilized and
then transferred me to the VA hospital which is where i am staying now.
hopefully in a couple of weeks they are going to transfer me to another civilian hospital until i am off all the IV meds and able to go home.
my left foot is completely shattered (has a bunch of titanium pins, screws and plates in it), the rest of my body (except my head) has a bunch of bruising, and some gnarley road-rash.
on a good note, because i am healing up well, i won't need the skin graphs that they were planning on.

it is turning out to be a good experience,
although i can't say that i would recommend it.
:)

they're chanterelles, or pfifferling as I've known them since I was a little kid. really, really tasty mushrooms :D

People dont recognize chanterelles in the us? They are the nr 1 mushroom here that people want and hunt for.
