Trentemøller Announces Fall North American Tour Dates

Danish electronic artist Anders Trentemøller is excited to announce his return to North America for a fall tour. Currently touring Europe with a full band, Trentemøller will follow up his sensational spring tour this October releasing a new double-album, Remixed /Reworked. Out on November 7 the double-album will feature the best reworks of Into The Great Wide Yonder and Trentemøller's best recent remixes for other artists.
Trentemøller and Danish/Berlin band Efterklang have also remixed each others songs and are now calling on creative fans across the world to create artwork for this remix swap release through a cover art contest. Listen to the remixes and read the art contest guidelines at FILTER. Trentemøller's "Tide" remixed by Efterklang, and Efterklang's "Raincoats" remixed by Trentemøller will be digitally released on iTunes with the winning artwork featured as the official cover. The 10 best pieces of artwork will also be featured and credited in the official iTunes release digital booklet. All applicants are free to create any kind of artwork, but are encouraged to submit a piece inspired by the artwork worlds of Efterklang and Trentemøller.
Featuring three-dimensional layers, cinematic lighting and unique special effects, Trentemøller's ever-evolving live performances were lauded at this year's SXSW, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella, resulting in Yahoo! Music saying he was the "biggest breakout of Coachella 2011...perhaps he'll be headlining Coachella in 2012." To get an idea of what to expect on this tour, watch the incredible live video of his performance of "Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider Go!!!" in front of 50,000 fans at Roskilde Festival.
