Anyone who denies that she was an incredible singer/performer must obviously not have listened to any of her albums. She was one of my favorite female artists of all time...

Tonight there's gonna be a 2007 Amy Winehouse club session on Much More Music channel, repeating a couple of times, 830 and 1130 pm EST.
I remember reading a few years ago she was given a shot at making the theme music for the last James Bond movie, but Mark Ronson the producer dropped out of the project and said she was not in shape to continue. The movie music that was eventually used (by Jack White) was OK but nothing special. Unfortunate, if she was healthy back then probably could have made a great theme track.

Yeah I remember that, it was big news in the UK... and I think later on after the release of the film the Director said he preferred Amy's version... Makes you wonder what actually happened w/ her and Ronson...
Meanwhile "Quantum of Solace" was probably the worst Bond ever made lol |
