El Paso, TX soon to be a large scale music festival destination
SMG Events to bring large scale music festival to El Paso, featuring 30 of the top electronic music artists in the world.
For the first time in history, El Paso will host a large scale music festival boasting over 30 of the world’s most famous electronic music artist on three stages Labor Day weekend. The dates for the massive 2 day festival are set for September 3rd and 4th and will be at Cohen Stadium in northeast El Paso. SMG events is well known around the region for putting on large scale events that draw crowds in the thousands and now for bringing a festival the likes of which has never been seen before in the southwest region.
In honor of El Paso’s nickname, the event has been dubbed Sun City Music Festival. The lineup for SCMF will be released in phases every week. With top arists such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Martin Solveig, Sander Van Doorn, & Wolfgang Gartner already announced, the line-up will be filled with many of the world's top EDM talent. Another attraction will be the DayGlow tent, which is a touring show that boasts being the “World’s Largest Paint Party”.

Cause Beyond Wonderland Houston got cancelled is what I'm guessing. Didn't take much to just move it a few hundred miles. |

Yes, we got lucky to be able to get SOME of their names to come out to our festival, but don't confuse that with this. This is OUR lineup and we've been adding/posting to it as we're able to book/confirm different people (didn't post it all at once) because it IS a little harder to get DJs to come to a 1st time festival in a smaller city... but I think we've done a good job of it :).
We'll be posting discount hotel/travel info in the next few days for those of you out-of-town peeps that would like to come! |
