What's your experience with the furry fandom?

"Furries" seem to be one of the most universally ridiculed and disliked groups of people in forum-land. But has anyone here actually known any furries in person, or had any contact with the "fandom" other than reading about it and making fun of it?
I've never known any furries, myself.  |

Furry fandom is crap. I always laugh when I see pics of people dressing up as animals and anonymously gay each other up.
Some of the porn is ok tho. |
