It's not that simple. I was actually looking for more of a thought-out and insightful answer.
I don't believe in a God, but I don't consider myself Atheist either. I hate being categorized, and that's the part of religion that I dislike the most. People claim to be "this" or "that" religion because it's common practice among society according to their belief, yet many times find themselves being hypocrites to the same religion they practice and supposedly adhere to. What's the point of a certain religious label, if there no credibility behind it?
I find inner-peace with nature at times (spiritually, and scientifically), but I don't consider myself part of a Naturalistic Nature Religion of some sorts.
This sounds kinda familiar there Nef...

- people who keep quiet.
edit, a 4th
- trolls who pretend to be the first because they crave approval from the TA hive mind
Hey, there is a 5th category of people who are accepting and nice. I said good on you and good luck, you bitch

do you know what the word atheist means?
I study the spiritualistic philosophy of advaita vedanta, which is indeed atheistic.

Yes.
-and-
I don't study that. So what does it have to do with me?

i mean I am not an atheist of the woscar or sam harris or dawkins school, being more interested in self knowledge than scientific knowledge, but i'm still an atheist nonetheless, because I don't believe in god.
there are all sorts of atheists. i also dont typically call myself an atheist because i don't like to be associate with the militant science fanboys

Alan Watts said
"Atheism in the name of God is an abandonment of all religious beliefs... giving up the attempt to make sense of the world in terms of any fixed idea or intellectual system. It is becoming again as a child and laying oneself open to reality as it is actually and directly felt, experiencing it without trying to categorize, identify or name it."
I guess according the Mr. Watts I'm Atheist. I still dislike the categorization, though.

the best part of that is it's IMO a great description of true mysticism, and probably how most saints and great spiritual thinkers would describe it.
the thing is when true mystics say 'god' (or Brahman, Beingness, Implicate Order, etc) what they mean is 'reality' as used in that sentence. there's a reason why the name of god is guarded in some religions, and why idols are banned in others. same principle, but somewhere along the line, people forgot what it was all about and just started caring about the rules for the rules' sakes.

Alan Watts was a great spiritual thinker, according to many.
