I've put together another double CD mix of some of the stuff I've been enjoying recently, one disc of a progressive nature and one of the more melodic/full-on. I've tried to make some of the transitions interesting too, so if you like it long and drawn out... Downloads to enjoy it in slightly higher quality, cue sheets also available so you can put it on CDs if you wish. Comments and feedback also appreciated.

Disc 1:
01. Asura - Everlasting
02. Blusoul - Vertigo Bender
03. Narel - Run (Planisphere Remix)
04. Relaunch - From Dark To Light
05. Kay-D - Close To The Other Planet
06. Stanisha - Parallel Midnight (Quintax Remix)
07. Mory Kante vs Loverush UK - Yeke Yeke (Solarstone's Deep & Throbbing Remix)

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I must admit I'm happier with the second mix, I thought the first disc ended up sounding like two separate parts as it switches to the techier stuff.

Interesting tracklists. 17 tracks in 80 minutes is quite a lot for this genre, so I'm wondering how that will pan out.

There's a little a bit of post-mix editing done to bring it down to CD length, but hopefully not enough to affect the progression of each track. I tend to make the transitions longer which leaves a little more room for extra tracks.

Well played ...

I wouldnt say that vocal 2nd track should fall into the category of psy .. because in the scene itself there is no singalong vocals in that form as such and they are shunned despised seen as commercial .

But i guess some producers are looking to break into the commercial end ..

Thanks. The second track is instrumental normally, I put the vocals over it partly because I thought it sounded nice, partly because I spent a long time enjoying regular trance music and partly because most of the people I know still listen to that and might like to hear something they recognise. I think some vocals work very well in prog/psy trance though, e.g. Michelle Adamson '7th Son'.
