Booty Breaks

I would like to build my collection of newer recent booty breaks / fun party breakbeat music. Not progressive - "save the princess from the dragon" - breaks. Not dark mechanoid optimus prime battles the terminator type of breaks (jackyl and hyde). I'm talking like girls dancing on top of your coffee table and kitchen counter / girls swinging on chandeliers / your grandma drops her cane and does a windmill - type of breaks.

This stuff is still being made, some recent examples:

I was going to abuse the name you allocated to the 'sub-genre', but I'm loving your descriptions for the others, so I'm not going to :stongue:

Maybe not this one, but it's a great tune either way...

finger lickin' records and all the off the people associated with the label and other labels are probably where you should start digging.

Pretty much anything Stanton and Plump is good, imo Plumps Eargasm and A Plump Night Out are among the best breaks albums (of their kind) ever made. Don't forget older Lee Coombs stuff.

was just listening to this so i'll just leave it here..

At a party on saturday I was telling my friends that I need to start digging more into breaks. I'm after the funkier old skool 135-140 bpm type . I only really know of Plaza De Funk and Ninelives the Cat. Anyone have any suggestions about that?

Here's a few I'm digging...

No youtube videos unfortunately, but you want stuff like this (the Krafty Kuts mix)?

Some stuff from when 2-step garage had a short love affair with breaks:

I'm going to Baltimore for the weekend, I'll ask some of the local DJs there for some more breaks, they LOVE this kinda there...
