I like it, the breakdown is awesome, very emotional. Is this your own work or sampled?
It sounds very Thomas Newman-ish.
Only thing I might add is that I think more could be done with the track to turn it into a really great track! ;) |

This has a perfect sound for me, until after the first mini break when that other muddy base joins in.
The break for me does not really go with this very techy dancey vibe (the vibe prior to that other bass joining).
Could be good if you re - think, but as ever it's all down to taste so really take NO notice of my feedback mate.
Loving than damned intro mate |

thats not a problem mate, i need feedback in order to progress. all comments are taken on board.
the break was the original piece i was playing about with creating, so i spent a few hours trying to mould the film score sounding piece into a techy sounding house track..
i just wanted a few comments to see if people thought it was worth sitting down and pushing forward with it. im very new to the producing side of things.
no nightly no samples. |

Ok, here is some feedback.
You know what is missing for me is the little bells and whistles to keep the interest (fx / modular sounds) especially in the break, it needs some filtered noise with a reverb/stereo delay for sure. Either that or add some high-passed rhythms/breakbeats that come in and out from time to time.
I think the timing of the double hat isn't quite right, its maybe a couple of ticks off.
The bass needs to be sidechained to the kick or high-passed a little as its a bit muddy, it doesn't sound quite right on my HFI-780 headphones that have a really good sub-bass response. |
