Moving to Seattle from Finland (Mix included!)

Hello everybody,
I hope you don't mind me posting here, I'm moving to Seattle in September for four months (to study at the UW) and thought I'd say hi. Who knows if there's fellow like-minded PacNW'ers on this board :) I've posted a new double mix to the DJ mixes section, it's kind of a showcase of my current style. I'd be more than happy to meet EDM people in the area if there are cool events etc. I know from experience that usually exchange students aren't into house music and when I was in Italy I just ran from a ty disco to another since nobody wanted to join me to see Sven Väth, Steve Bug etc who played in the city when I was there :wtf: Here are links to the mix and to my SoundCloud page:

Digging the t-lists!
I'm gonna dload them when i get home tonite/2morrow. Whatd you mix it with?
I travel professionally but call Seattle my home. The EDM scene here is spotty @ best, much less the deep house scene..(of which i know of none) LOL
But going to UW and pushing your sound will get your name and vibe out there. Just network the outta campus and start throwing your own parties.

Wow! Listened to Morning Drive and I seriously felt I like I was listening to Digweed. I had to double check my iTunes to make sure it wasn't a mix of his playing.
Good luck in Seatle! If you ever come to LA let us know.

same here kinda, moving to seattle in oct from austin tx. id liked to meet some like minded individuals (i.e. that know that edm is more than 'moby'). TA did that for me when i moved to san antonio and i met some great friends, hopefully itll work out the same again. tho i have no sets to offer as im just a listener. great mixes btw Aki!
