honestly... i had couple of friends that attended the party not because they are Digweed fans (they actually don't like his style at all) but go because its such a great party. It's one of the few times you get to go out and see a lot of people that have been in the scene for years.

The city & county of Denver robbed me of a potential two more hours of Digweed last night, incredible set! I can only imagine how it was on Wednesday night.
GPC
So many old school friends!!! Amazing night as it always is. Last half hour was just :eyespop: Sound kind of sucked IMO. WAY to much bass. Just drowned the rest of the music out. Until next year...

John Digweed: I record every single show that I do. When I was putting the compilation together I knew in the back of my mind when the night was happening this is a special party. I knew when I played the show March 19 that was the one I wanted to use on the new album.

I'm glad I didn't skip this show like the last time he was at the Mayan. It's nice change of pace from going to the usual places on a Saturday night. Great stuff from beginning to end from Digweed. Great seeing old friends (sweetcandy girl, GPC, DJWoody) and finally meeting Quazar and 72hrpartyanimal. Bummed I didn't get to catch up with gypsygirl. I took some videos but as you know it was the usual dark lighting so there's not much to look at so I just uploaded them so you can hear some of the tracks he played that night.

Most importantly, did you hear what he said at the end about maybe playing NYE? ;)
Grooving at the beginning

I think you might actually like some of the tracks Digweed played. If you like Markus's slower BPM productions and his Dakota stuff you might get into it. I'm not even into most of the tracks Digweed plays on his Transitions show but I enjoy seeing him play live.

Someone need to ID this track QUICK!!!! IT's awesome!!!! He played it around 3:30am. It had so much bass, I was standing in the middle of the rails by the main bar overlooking the dancefloor when the bass kicked in. I literally felt the hot air from the speaker racks to the left and right of me!!!

Fun night. It was way to hot inside. Thought the sound was decent not great. Music was good but definitely not great. I left at 3am.

The sound could have been better but we were right in the sweet spot it was hitting so hard. Directly in the middle towards the back of the main floor :D I loved how the lighting wasn't too over the top, all the focus was on the music no VIP tables, not such a flashy video setup just some equipment on top of some tress, speakers and a few screens.
Not the best quality videos but here is what I took. The bass was killer.
