Some people get put off with him being tagged as psytrance, but really it's somewhere in between that and regular trance music. | Oakenfold has actually had some really good sets this year in the old-school, faster style (check out his ASOT 500 set), but I'm not sure if he plays like that at every gig. |

Unfortunately he doesn't.
I have been to Oakie's gig in San Francisco a couple months ago and he sucked! I thought he would play the "old" Oakie sound that he is trying to go back too but he played only the electro/pop house-trance .
And he played for only 1:30min hours. Very frustrating. |
