Or my mix of "obvious" drum and bass that most people seem to actually like despite it being so obvious that everybody has heard every tune of before :o |

Sorry man, but I've got a billion and one things to hear. New BVDub album, new Biosphere album, another 1082 tracks queued up on Spotify, a Paul Van Dyk essential mix from 1997, Sand Leaper's Chaos mix, a Fabric mix, a mixtape of neo-classical someone's just recommended me...
The mix looks nice, obviously, but I've heard 80% of the tracks before, and there really is only so much millenial prog you need in your life. |

JUST HATIN TO HATE
I totally understand. I'm actually hoping to get something a bit fresher done today. |

I try and keep my real identity hidden from TA, not always successfully. You don't know how weird it feels to have someone you've never met come up to you during a night out, shake your hand and say "You're SYSTEM-J!" |
i've had my share of 'you must be nefardec' intros before. awkward. haven't met anyone 'recently' though. |

Acknowledging his skill makes me a dickrider? So in that case, acknowledging your lack of skill makes me a hater.

I think TA has a lot of talented DJ's. I'll call it when I see it. I don't like all of Jack's sets but he puts out quality a majority of the time. |
when all those TA heavyweights such as yourself shat on my deep house mix, I made that as a stepping stone to step up my game as a dj. there are TA's with clout without a doubt. it's just that coattail riders make me pout. my previous post was directed more towards justin, so if I came off the wrong way, I apologize. |

Apology accepted, sorry for the misunderstanding. Always take criticism as constructive, even if it comes across as harsh. In your case, you tried to defend your decisions in your mixing when you should have acknowledged our feedback and advice from the beginning. Hopefully my last post in that thread cleared everything up.
If you think I haven't gotten my fair share of bad reviews, think again. Yin's Revenge was hailed as one of my worst mixes, even though it had a great tracklist, simply because I allowed two trainwrecks. Flow Control got terrible reviews because it didn't flow at all, much like my title implied. SYSTEM-J dislikes almost all of my mixes he listens to with the exception of Broken Signal. I always take harsh criticism like this:

He's a boss. A dick. But a boss. |
