i've tried using nero but since i'm creating an mp3 cd which is considered a data cd, the option for pause/delay between tracks isn't available. do u know of any other software that would have this option? please let me know, thanks. |

It is, u jus aint lookin.
1: When you start to create a mp3 cd click on audio cd
2: Drag n drop the tunes you want on the cd
3: Double click on the tune and change the pause to 0 |

thanks for the reply. i am able to set the pause on an audio cd. but when i attempt to create an mp3 cd, this is considered a data cd so the pause option between the tracks isn't available. please help if you can, thanks. |

Why do you want a pause in a mp3 file? That isn't possible!
If you have a mp3 file from a cd (thats like 100mb) you can use cue files to burn it on cd so you get the cuts between the songs. |

thanks for the tip. when i burn a regular music cd, i am able to set the pause/delay to 0 seconds between tracks for the live mixes. however, when i create an mp3 cd, the option for pause/delay between tracks isn't available because this is considered a data cd in nero 5.9, not a .wav type audio cd. |

the only way I know of, is that if you have a large wave file(like a live set)I use a program called "ozapel wave divider" and it divides it into equal section, with no gap, then you change all the wave files to mp3's then you burn them in a file folder.
if you start with a live set thats in mp3 format, change it to a wave first, then divide(you can use a program called yamp to decode, encode, ripp etc.
hope it helps: benetton |

| also it depends on what type of mp3 player your trying too play this cd on, there is only a few mp3 players that can access files fast enough, to not have a gap. example, last years kenwood car mp3 player had a 3 second gap no matter what, this years new models have about half a second gap. |
