CVS does not play Hip Hop...lol

He played at least two straight up hip-hop tracks (no remix, not pitched up) at the Piknic section of Osheaga last Sunday. During the set, not opening, not closing. Really f'd up the flow imo.

Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Ahahaha he played some hip-hop last night, but it was near the end of the set. I found it pretty cool, it gives a break from the constant beat sometimes.

There was hip hop, but it worked. Gave things a bit of a different flavor. Although, I do understand how it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Zyklon_Jay
i thought CVS was pretty lame at piknic. I don't mind that "Hyphny" Bay area sound, it just wasn't a good vibe and pretty dead to be honest.
WittyHandle
Obviously not a normal Piknic crowd, or real CVS heads. No one's paying $80 to go to Piknic or just see him.

The crowd was dead at times due to people going to see other bands, but came back in waves between acts. When they were there, it was either jailbait or dirty drunks.

You know all this, but decided not to include it for some reason.
Zyklon_Jay
Because I was part of the Dirty Drunk contingent of course.
WittyHandle
That was some sweeeeeet jailbait tho
Zyklon_Jay
I was with my gf and her sister (it was her bday)so i had my jailbait *peripherals only* blinders on. After working the festival the whole weekend for an insane amount of hours I finally got off (in more ways than one:p) for Cypress Hill. I was so ready to relax at 4:20. The handful of free beer coupons for the Budweiser Big Rig, and 4$ (2oz and a full can) vodka red bulls at the Vip bar behind the Calder would have made it a very interesting time to meet me. Maher can attest:p

We got to smoke a joint with Sen Dogg at least. That was the highlight5 of my Osheaga this year, CVS:p

Well, Ian and Fred totally blew everyone away at Revival. A close friend described the event perfectly in one word:
