I guess what I am trying to get at is that if you don't like programming, like as something to just do, for fun, then going to school for it and expecting to have an easy time after working is somewhat a gamble.

Uhh, I wouldn't even have considered taking CS courses if I didn't already like programming. :p

No, I know you probably wouldn't, just saying to anyone else that might read it though. There are tons of people that go into CS with out actually liking computer programming or engineering. Its one of those fields where it is sort of expected that you are pretty versed in it when going in (well not entirely, but it helps skip the boring , or do well in the boring ).

But yea, I am not sure where you are going to school for CS, but it is taught differently in almost every school. Some places focus on stupid like teaching people a specific language and do not focus on theory or design, which are far more important than learning one language through and through (you can do that on your own, and you will learn it on the job as projects arise).
