I understand your point but lets be serious...
Is he really need to be there?? Not at all
Its the Job of the DJ to bring Life to the party...not some wack ass MC |
He's part of the Dance.Here.Now family...so for you to call him wack ass, is a diss to the whole crew that puts those parties on.
If you dont think my point is "serious" than whatever. And I'm not going to sit here and let you down him. You can call him wack ass, and I can call you wack ass for calling him wack ass.

well then you just pretty much summed the rest of the NYTAs who support you party because everyone if not all(except for you and your partner) think he is wack ass and not needed |

Great, everyone can have an opinion. And if you want to go ahead and voice yours, then of course I am going to voice mine. I don't really care if you disagree with it actually. It's fine with me.
and if there's someone getting trashed on a message board who I care for and support, and is a part of a group that is responsible for bringing events to NYC that everyone enjoys, I will certainly speak up for them.
To me, that's what being a friend is about.
I don't really follow what the masses think anyhow. I prefer to think independently and follow my heart. And that's what I've done here. |

This is not a knock on the guy's character, its just a sign of a changing of the times.
MCs are not as big as they were 5-10 years ago. The dynamic of parties has changed and since there is a definite customer demand to have the MC taken off the bill, it might be something to consider for future parties. |

Totally agree. Zabiela doesn't need anyone to pump the crowd, his music does the speaking. |

But Anthony is not just an "MC"...he's part of Dance.Here.Now. as a whole.
Nobody is like, hey, let's hire an MC to pump the crowd up! He's part of the event...of all their events.
Anyhow, point has been stated...and no, James definitely does NOT need someone to "hype the crowd" up. Most DJs that Dance.Here.Now. book don't need anyone to do that. |

Since you're going to mention PVD, I seem to recall that he didn't want anyone else involved with anything to do with his set at DHN. So that's not really an accurate comparison.
Anyhow...I have noted your objection to Anthony. But I don't run DHN anyway so it's not up to me whether he's there at a party or not. And I'm not going to relay your desires to them either. And I hope Anthony doesn't read Tranceaddict...although he'd probably laugh about it if he did.
Are you going to come to this party, Scoops? My drink ticket drinking game offer still holds :toocool: Since you dislike him so much here's your chance to really get hammered! MuahAHahah. |

i dunno what event's you go to but i seen him def chime in way too much on a few events
example...
2 weekends ago at pacha during dvs1's set he gets on the mic for a good 5 min and just kept repeating... "eyowwwwwwwwwww pachaaaaaa danny tenaglia is in the building eyowwwwwwww iam famous iam the man in a dress with a goteee eyowwwwwwwwwwwwww" (points at girl) " oh sister workkkkk that dress hunny eyowwwwww"
and a whole bunch of other useless comments while dvs1 was tryin to play
a few years ago at asseteria he just kept repeating "ass...ass...ass...ass...i smell ass...ass...ass...i smell ass" the whole night iam not kidding
iam not saying he's a bad person at all, but i see no point in some of the stuff he says and how he just ruin's dj's sets |
