exactly!, I don't wanna mention any names. But that club up on Vine does that too damn much.

Couldnt agree more. I wish people would be more willing to take risks with the new names instead of booking the same tried & tested names over & over. Already so much hype for this LA show!

Big ups to LMD for bringing out some amazing names all the time.

I've been waiting six years for Orjan to come to the USA. My favorite trance producer, no doubt. Nice to see he's making his debut in California =]

Looks like I gotta start planning a roadtrip from SF to LA!!

i would think that avalon couldn't afford to take risks by booking lesser known artists ... they need to know that bitch is gonna be packed when they open their doors, otherwise they lose money w/ their massive overhead

SPECIAL 4 HOUR EXTENDED SET

hah...looks like Avalon booked Richard Durand for the same night as Orjan at Circus :) The choice is obvious for me! Orjan!! Although I do like Richard Durand too.

*sigh* of course they did.

I'm a fan of Richard Durand, but I don't think I'll feel like dealing with Avalon. Plus chances are he won't be playing a four-hour set. :P

Where do I get tickets?

Arnej and Orjan are doing a collab coming out on the new compilation shortly. "The Music Makers" track by them sounds like its going to be epic!

if the locations were reversed, would you go to avalon?

also why should avalon have to "take risks" with names that arent going to bring in hoardes of people? doesnt circus already do that?

Hoardes of people is good, but only with space. I'm not down for clubbing on only one floor between 11:00 - 3:30, because they close the entrance. I leave that to the noobs...

I'd take that any day vs. an empty Circus.

And re: Avalon taking risks they have, primarily with house DJs, but they also brought Bobina in '09, when Giant was still at Vanguard, and it worked great for them.

Now now... let's all focus on how awesome it is that ON is coming to SoCal.
