is there such a thing?
basically, my phone is shagged, and i dont have an alarm clock, i use my phone as an alarm clock. i read up somewhere before [when my phone was bollocksed again] that you can set windows task manager to play a mp3 or system sound at a certain time.. ergo, an alarm clock, but i couldnt get it to work.
does anyone know of an actual failproof program thats free that will help me out?. the problem is cos i have to be up at 7am, and my missus is staying at her grandparents house tonight, so i have absolutely no way of guaranteeing safe wake-up callages in the morning  |

| In the windows control panel go to "scheduled tasks" or "task scheduler" (NOT task manager) and you can set an mp3 to play at a certain time. You don't need to download any special software. |

ah awesome, that looks like exactly what i was needing :D
just given it a test run, and seems to work brilliantly.
does it require that the system dosnt go into standby?.. i'll switch standby off anyways tonight, but for future reference..? |
