The previews sound really good.
Question for the trance heads...is his style of trance still a dominant sound today in the trance scene? Whenever I do shop for trance music these days, I really don't hear much of this kind of sound. It seems a lot of trance is slowing way down BPM wise, and incorporating more housey or techy elements.
I think this album sounds great though. |

his sound reminds me of the better days compared to what trance is today...trance nowadays is getting too popish with these high synth melodies...no melodic or emotional build-ups/deep pads/driving percussion etc etc
the only really big dj i know who still support's activa stuff is pvd
other than that like i said alot of dj's are going to this more mainstream cookie cutter sound big and medium trance guys alike
there is still a few dj's out there who still bang out some good emotional/melodic/uplifting stuff and support activa's stuff alot (manuel le saux, sean tyas, reorder, john askew etc etc) |

| To be honest when I want to hear some good trance these days I go right for the uplifting/driving faster bpm'd trance. The slower stuff just seems a bit more "pop" to me. It's refreshing to see names like Activa keep his style pretty much the same through all the years...he's always been one of my favorite producers. Everything the guy touches is gold. |
