I would assume because its a Vegas pool party?
I have seen him several times and it was nothing like that, I hope he wouldn't play that trash anywhere else. |

Exactly. Vegas is Vegas always commercial always cheese. People from all over the world are there to get ed up and party they don't know the first thing about proper dance music. Clubs are packed yes but they're not packed with people there to see a DJ.
Most DJs that try and stick to say a deeper more intelligent sound will get pulled in Vegas almost always. Cater to the crowd and you win.

| I hate that "Vegas is Vegas" argument. It's the promoter's responsibility to book a DJ that will fit their party, not the other way around. BT = useless. |

I mean his most recent artist album isn't Dirty Dutch in the slightest.
I have some friends that went to his show in ATL last Friday and said it was really good, and they don't like Dirty Dutch at all.
It is kind of annoying to expect something from someone and then get something totally different "because it's Vegas". |

He played the same at Avalon the other night, the Vegas excuse doesn't count.
The last 2 times I saw him he played hard electro and mainstream house as well. |

Everyone is jumping genres these days maybe he will do a collab with Lil John soon. He seems to be enjoying himself even if us purists hate him for it.
EDM is more commercial than it has ever been hopefully it will reach the end of it's cycle and go back underground for a bit. |

| I just think it's such a mega- copout that someone with as much talent and skill in the studio as BT resorts to producing mainstream music like that. Why can't he bring some of the eclecticism and depth that he can produce to pop music? Fail. |

not to mention he didnt show up till 3am.. wTF mate.
been following BT for 11 yrs now, he used to be great. But lately his "laptop symphony" sets seem more like revenue generators more than anything else.
his last artist album was meh... and this is coming from a die hard fan |
