If 2010 was the year that Jamie Jones and Lee Foss's Hot Creations label first found itself on the corner of Club Town that sits at the nexus of house, disco and techno, then 2011 was when it officially became that corner's main landmark. Sexy, druggy, and alternately deep and chuggy-funky—that's how Hot Creations likes its music. We do too. And lucky us—two of the label's newest members, Richy Ahmed and Russ Yallop, are paying a visit to U Street Music Hall on Friday the 26th.

Ahmed's only been on the scene for a few years, but the young U.K. DJ-producer has already played esteemed events like Barcelona's Sonar and Detroit's Movement, not to mention the label's world-spanning bevy of Hot Natured parties; his old-school-laced "Suck It" was one of the highlights off Hot Waves, the great Hot Creations compilation from this past spring.

Yallop, meanwhile, has been riding the success of his late-night funk, notably "I Can't Wait," to become one of the main players of Damian Lazarus's Crosstown Rebels camp. The shindig sees the pair joined by Brooklyn boy Mike Fisher, one half (with Alex "Holosound" Fish) of the Pets For Less duo and a key artist for Nurvous, the new Nervous imprint dedicated to disco-licious house. Oh, and it's also his Birthday. What more could you ask for?
