Wow hope this 2012 ride lives up to the hype, sounds promising.

Behemoth is great, gotta take yourself on a ride in the front car of it for an extra thrill. Top Gun (or whatever they renamed it after the Paramount sale) is still my favourite though. As bad as it is for the neck gotta love the loopty loops on that one.

The last time I was there was when the top gun rollercoaster made it's debut. I have no idea how long ago that was.

One thing I've always wanted to do was do a weekend trip to cedar point in Ohio.

Top Gun came out in 1994 I think so you haven't been there in 17 years.. long overdue for a visit!

I really want to take a week and go to Cedar Point and King's Island in one trip

Went to Cedar Point last year and it was unbeleivable! Sickest rides hands down. Hopefully they will build something like top thrill dragster or maverick. Both of those are way better than Bohemoth, even though Bohemoth is pretty sick. Tomorrow morning is the big announcement.

From Wikipedia: 2012 - Leviathan a 350 foot roller coaster, first giga by B & M and surpassing tallest and fastest coaster in Canada (max speed 98mph)

For the record: Behemoth is 230ft tall and maxes out at 77mph. Top Thrill Dragster is 420ft and 120mph. This will probably be the tallest roller coaster that Wonderland ever sees since it's in a fly zone so replicating a coaster like Top Thrill Dragster is not possible

I remember when Top Gun came out. I waited 4 hours to get on it lol

Funny because I was at Wonderland on Saturday and I noticed a contractors trailer and newly pushed dirt in the middle of the coaster. Completely makes sense! I can't wait!

What company owns Wonderland and Ceder Point? They seem to be ahead of the game with all the recent additions. Paramount hardly ever invested money into Wonderland.

Cedar Fair owns both parks and more than 10 others in the States. I agree with you on Paramount. In the 12 years they owned the park they only put in one truly great ride: Top Gun. Thank god Cedar Fair bought the park from them :D
