Sonically, what's wrong with my intro?

Hey TA,

I was wondering if you could spare a few minutes to listen to the intro of a track i'm working on and tell me what's missing. Does it have drive enough? Does it have enough variation? Is it interesting enough or boring? Is anything missing? I've listened to it so many times now, and it seems I can't form an opinion about it normally. Comments are welcome!

Thanks in advance :)

I'm not sure if its the quality in which the track was ripped or what but the hi-hats sound a little distorted. The structure is there. The phrasing sounds okay. But I'd re-rip a better quality sample for us to listen to. It should sound clean and not that it was sampled off the internet.

I found the reverb too big.. Listening on headphones it feels really wide and above my head with not much going on in the middle down below, needs stronger kick and bass.
