Astral Projection have always been the exception to the goa norm, as their tunes got played across the board within trance as a whole. Mahadeva is perhaps the biggest example of this.
As for the set, ugh, six and a half hours of progressive house/trance? That is just too little variation for my blood, even for someone who loves late 90s Sasha and Digweed-sets as much as me. Still, I got through the first three hours in one sitting, and it was awesome. Tracks 22 to 29 are mixed ridiculously well, and make for a good example of the kind of dancefloor journey that turned so many people into raving S&D-fanboys. |
