I've also heard great things about Alicia's Keys from NI. Kysora I find myself constantly going to Nexus for any piano sounds I need, they've never let me down. DNA_pl http://www.sampletekk.com/ has some nice piano libraries available also http://www.acoustica.com/pianissimo/ and http://www.truepianos.com - somehow I can always layer it nicely with other sounds (but I wouldnt say that is sounds most realistic - but I like it :) ) Morvan A great sampled piano such as Ivory etc. doesn't necessarily have to be the best choice in a dense mix in trance. tehlord Truepiano is the best all round 'realistic' one imo. When you say "clean" and "realistic" are you intending this for a piano-based composition, or a typical trance piano? Trance pianos typically aren't very realistic and I agree with Kysora that the Nexus pianos are very good for that use. If you want true realism, be prepared to spend a lot. Personally, I prefer my Kurzweil PC3X's pianos for realism, in terms of both sound and playability. Some of the NI Akoustik Pianos (discontinued) and the ones included in Kontakt are pretty good.
