God awful for being a Ferry production. And this guy used to have potential.

I don't know if your being sarcastic or not, but if you are not......you need to be on another website because you obviously have no comprehension of trance music.
The track isn't bad. I think it would sound great in a club, but just listening on my headphones its ok
I'm not being sarcastic at all as I assume neither are the vast majority of ppl commenting on this thread. It sucks. Ferry hasn't made a decent tune for years - even if it is trance, which I dispute, it isn't very good trance!

Ferry's my fav producer of all time but yes, lately (for like years) he's kinda been sucking.
This is the kinda stuff I really miss from him:

and even better, The Generator, "Where are you now"
its a shame so many of these trance maestros had to go into this teccy sound with no real melodies when they have already shown they can write lovely music- or did they have a good engineer/music writer with them originally i wonder????:conf:

As a trance newb, if any of you have more good Ferry tracks to post, I'd greatly appreach;)

I still like Ferry, but this song is pretty boring. His new collab with Armin ("Brute") is pretty good if you think of it in context of a DJ set.
And he does have talent. "Made of Love" is easily one of the best anthems of the last few years (in the context of popular trance tracks). But it's what happens with every major trance DJ's artist albums: There's a few standouts, but mostly duds. And this track is from Ferry's upcoming artist album. Artist albums from the big guys have always kind of sucked. I'll take compilations over them any day.
(and Ferry's Once Upon a Night compilations are excellent)
Anyway, I'm going to see a 4 hour set from him on Labor Day weekend, so I'll finally get to see him play longer than his normal 2-hour "greatest hits" type sets. I haven't seen an extended set from him in years.

And if you don't mind the vocals:
Rodri Santos
this is not my cup of tea however i admire how he always succeeds creating something catchy and atmospheric... system f times is when ferry really rocked, this is not much different than SHM tracks, you are aware aren't you?.
I saw Ferry this year and his set is currently a blend of this type of electro fart trance that sometimes success moving the crowd , some uplifters and heavy big room tech tracks and finishes with some gouryella and 1998-2002 classics

I think this track sucks. But having given "Once Upon A Night" a passive listen, I think he still has it. I loved "Right Of Way."
