Kinda a cool idea, but seems kinda expensive I think for what is basically a dongle with storage capacity. Just seems like alot of hassle to have to remember to plug it in at certain dates to get new stuff. I guess it's a way to stick out of the crowd, but I'd rather use the USB get access to the Carl Cox Special Free Music By Me-club for maybe up to double the price, if that was for sale.
And the way I understood it, it's not three, but one album that is released in 3 stages. Might have more songs than a regular album, but I'd still prefer it to be a guarantee of more content (more exclusive sets and maybe tracks from a "carl cox presents noobs who has sent in demos that are good enough for him to push them onto us for free"-kinda sub-label). |

Deadmau5 did something similar. My wife bought it and we could never get it to work.

John 00 Fleming made it first with Digital Blonde, in the album:

| It's different, I like the idea. Most people will illegally download it all anyways. |

| Seeing as people will be able to get it illegally anyway, I don't know why you'd want to give people that buy it extra work. Best way to get people to buy your stuff is by making it super easy and instant to get the music compared to searching through sources to get it illegally. |
