Crazy Video. Def an airbag going off is the explosion. First fireman handled it well considering.
So many mistakes made at that fire though.
- Fireman with the nozzle didn't have the proper fog stream to protect himself from the explosion.
- Other Firemen not wearing their SCBA's (Breathing apparatus) Smoke from a car fire is some of the worst out there.
- Fireman with the halligan (Metal bar tool) not opening the hood properly. Should have popped to hood from the drivers seat or even safer by knocking out the grill and twisting the hood cable with his halligan.
- Using a shihl saw to cut the hood?! kidding me??
