Heres a new track I just finished. It was the first mixdown on my new DSM3 monitors so I'm curious how people think it sounds! Thanks.

Thanks for the excellent (and speedy) Feedback Cal,
You are definitely right about the both of those things I think. I noticed the mix was a bit left heavy (both stabs are panned left to varying degrees, with only the bleep on the right) but it sounded best there in the mix. So I might go back and tweak it in the master and put the field a touch to the right.
After some critical listening the breakdown lead could use to drop 1db or more .
PS. Very happy with the DSM3's from audio midi, deal of a lifetime for me (I will be doing a post on my overall thoughts with them soon after I fool around with them for a bit longer). |
