Part 2 is now online, and isn't mixed by me! Apologies if the cover art is a bit ty, really struggled to get such a massive tracklist onto any image at all. This is a really classy mix, just the kind of thing I was after.
Nice! Downloading.
I'm really into this sounds right now, since i saw that thread about Liquid DnB i can't stop listen to this genre anymore.
Cheers.

Well, you won't find any of that here. This was a very solid ambient/drone set, lots of very subtle details, and nobody knows how to blend and program all these tracks quite like pozz. This music was very delicate and sophisticated, quite enjoyable really. Kind of a head trip. Nice work.

hey, thanks for the compliments zip, and thanks for including this mix System-J. it's kinda new for me for to mix in that orchestral bit in the middle, glad it worked out so well with the rest of the sounds.
@rdevito - originally i wanted to include this track (check it out below), but i did not have enough transitional pieces to bring it smoothly from the droning ambient up to this kind of speed.

Man, this is intense music. Awesome stuff.
I actually enjoyed your mix, i don't have too much to say about Ambient mixes unfortunately, that's one of the reasons i like this forum, always learning new music.
I just know it worked really well while i was sitting on the bus looking through the window and watching the people, the cars.
Nice trip.... ;)

Listened to your mix, Poz, when there was a huge storm going on outside. Mix was beautiful and fantastic and went amazingly with the weather. Good job, mate :)

It was a pleasure. If anyone else wants to contribute, PM me your mixes. The idea of this series is to get real variety, so anyone who has an interesting idea - get creative!

I must say im impressed with the mix, it really has a deep and dark mood about it, at some points it turns pretty blade runner'esque, which is a good thing(its one of the best movies/soundtracks ever).
After tunnel rytmer is started listening more to your stuff, but u lost me some mixes later when the mood got a bit too bright for me. But this is totally in the right direction. Its awesome. Thanks.

i'm glad man. i do the same when listening, helps me get really lucid about things, events, my own feelings.

i tried to make it go from rain to shine by the end by using that sample of water and those mellow uplifting tones. thanks!

i never thought of tunnel rytmer as all that dark, but you're right. i tend to use loads of bright sounds these days -- not really on purpose, more because it's stuff i end up finding.`easy way to give direction to mix if you set bright stuff (which is the majority of ambient produced) next to dark drones. the first tinkling of the melody always sounds like it clears the air. thanks for the feedback and the listen man.
@teez - the obscenely early hours of the morning make for a good substitute. ;)

I've had 40 minutes spare on Soundcloud because all my main mixes are 80-ish minutes long, so I thought I'd put this up. The weather here has been awful for the last week, so it seems appropriate. This is one of my favourites of my own sets, unfolds very nicely. I never turned this into a series, Life At Low Volume was a semi-sequel but ended up being themed around something else.
