i had some 2000 mp3 and my HD fried..please help me refill my collection..u can upload mp3, preferably from this month and all group releases...hehe just joking...
well i regurarly see new threads about ppl losing their HD, etc...
well this is stupid cause WTF don't they burn or create back ups?? well if i had an entire life of trance in my HD without burnin it or backuping, i would live in fear all day... is it some kind of way to make ppl uploading new music to you? personally, i'm waiting for DVD recorders to become cheaper, cause i don't want to have huge towers of cd's next to my pc... =)

my cd burner is on my dads comp, otherwise i probs wud back them up, shame really, im living life on a risking edge, wooooOOOooo! :) |

It depends on how much you've got: why don't you buy a CD case to store all your mp3-cd's? Worked for me (then you won't have towers of CD next to you) |

I learned this the hard way, after being infected with the I Love You virus, wiped out all of my media files, including pictures and videos :O
I back up every few weeks now, just to be sure |

what I do to ensure I dont lose MP3s
is that I dont DL them
I have next to no mp3s, I like songs pitched one way or another most of the time
so I buy them, and then rip em w/ pitch for myself. I dont share, and I dont check the MD much
really I like to think I follow my own taste, and I found that you guys influenced me alot when I was buying vinyl(oh this is played out, no good, amazing) and I bought alot of tracks I regretted. so now I dont look @ charts, I dont look in MD and I buy what I like. |
