Surely there must be an interview of his where Kaskade discusses the change in style????

Strange i tell ya. :sadgreen:

True but miguel migs is possibly the test DJ I have ever had the misfortune of paying to see. Honestly, he ruined the night, slowly but surely clearing the floor at the music box a few months back.

And have to agree with Quazar, Empty streets is one of the most beautiful commercial vocal house tracks ever made.

I wonder if he will make music as deep as this again...

I <3 this song... I don't keep up with the new "Kaskade" stuff... so I can't contribute to the thread... but I agree on his old stuff was stellar deep house.... (I actually still bump this track occassionally ;) in lounge settings, of course) :toocool:

Anyone have any idea how his Navy Pier show in Chicago in Chicago is gonna sound? I have people tell me all the time they miss his old stuff. Thing is, I wasn't into him back then so I have no idea what I missed. I just don't wanna waste my time if that show is gonna be lame ass pop . Btw, I walked away from Kaskade at EDC Chicago because he sucked so bad..... Anyone?? Thoughts??

I think it will probably be Mashkade + a lot of his new album stuff. I doubt it will be the deep "Redux" stuff, otherwise he'd brand it as such. I don't mind the new sound, not a huge fan of Mashkade, but mostly not a huge fan of all the little kids that show up to the LA shows (given that they are either all ages or 18+). That's why I'm skipping the Shrine shows =/

I'd rather see him at Marquee but then that club has dance space for about 2% of its patrons so that turns into a nightmare too, especially when your girlfriend is getting pushed left and right.

So I'm taking a Kaskade break.

Idiotic booking him at the venue for that kind of show... honestly. The regular crowd that is pulled to Voyeur would have no appreciation for old Kaskade.

In other words - I blame the booking agent and promoter. Wrong venue to choose.

Scoops
another jam!
