Seeing if the AT&T T-Mobile USA merger falls a part, it be interesting to see if Rogers would consider going south (that is if US laws will allow it). Reason I say this; more customers for starters. Plus for the US/Canadian customers wouldn't have to worry about roaming charges ;)
That is just a thought though.
So Rogers if your reading this, be like the Canadian banks. Buy T-Mobile USA. It will just cost them $39 billion, it would take them about 8-10 years to pay it off.

Plus T-Mobile has over 33 million customers (i.e almost the same amount of people that live in this country)
In another note: Shaw will not become a mobile carrier. So I wonder who will buy that up: Wind or Mobolicity.
Hypothetical (mergers)
Rogers-T-Mobile USA [approx.42 million customers]
Bell-Telus [14.38 million customers]
Sasktel-MTS [1.04 million customers]
WIND-Mobolicity-Videotron [580k customers] |
