i have dl the free voxengo span vst to my desktop on my mac, i am having trouble where to go from here i read the txt.doc attached with it, but im not super computer smart
You should mount the DMG archive (which you already did since
you are reading this file) and, depending on the plug-in format,
copy the 'component' or 'vst' package from it into the
corresponding plug-in folder located in the
'/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/' folder on the harddisk. After this
has been done you will need to order your audio application to
rescan plug-ins, or if that option is unavailable you will need
to re-start this application.
but i can work this out pls HELP for Mac too |

You need to drag the SPAN.vst file (among the 5 other files you have mounted) to Macintosh HD-library-audio-plugins-VST & then depending on what DAW you use? it will either automatically scan it before it opens like logic, or you will need to find the rescan option:) |
Ok done, iv dropped the scan.vst file into the hd libary vst folder etc, im using logic 9 so im not sure on where to re scan if i need to or not, appreciate the help |

Logic doesn't support VST, so you need to download the AU version. Once you've dragged that to the AU folder, logic will automatically scan it on open:) |
bugger i did a rescan and it didnt come up so thats why, i giv that a go then, :gsmile: |

If you go to preferences-audio units manager & scroll down to span & it says "successfully validated" then yeah it will be under inserts:)
I'm not sure the flowers will be looking too good by the time they've arrived from aus:stongue: |

See the two ticks that say Logic & nodes? if you untick the logic one (for span) it will re-scan just that one. It will either say successfully validated or crashed validation - if it crashes, sometimes just scanning it again will work:)
