| Ok so perhaps I will stay with FL since I already have a firm knowledge on it, can anyone recommend me some good plugins or drum kits for it and how to implement them? would be a great help |

"Good plugins" is quite vague.
If you're looking for the INSTANT HIT plugin, you won't find one. What are you looking to accomplish? :) |

Can we please stop enabling this guy? Seriously, I don't mean to come off as a prick, but if you're new to production you kind of need to test the waters yourself. No amount of text on a screen is going to direct your future in music production better than actually doing it yourself.
I mentioned the stickied topics -- threads that are clearly marked with a Please Read, mind you -- and your follow-up question was regarding drum kits and synths. A topic that is covered right here in a stickied topic (under "Other")
I'm seriously not trying to be mean, this is just tough love. I told you where to find resources and you either didn't look very hard before giving up, or didn't try at all. And now you're asking us to do more of the work for you. I know the music production world is a bit daunting but you really need to stop asking vague questions that really have no answer -- there are only so many "rules" that are set in stone and apply to everyone, and they can either be found here or with a bit of Google-fu. The rest you need to figure out for yourself. Trust me, you'll be better off for it in the long run. |

Can I get an answer to one question that I can't find on the forums: what is the dj-friendly bpm for trance
because 135 seems to be too fast yet 130 seems to be too slow :( |

Apparently we listen to vastly different trance, since most of what I listen to is between 135 and 140. |

Wow seriously? Wikipedia could tell you the BPM.
BPM varies from track to track too. DJ's gotta beat match, not us.
The trance I listen to is around 180 to 185.... oh did I say japanese trancecore/freeform? sorry.

That's one of the many limitations of Fruity Loops. Actually, most DAWs costing under $1000 will feel like they're playing in the wrong time. Your only option is to buy Nuendo with its Dynamic Tempo Fluidity (DTF) technology, which self-adjusts its tempo according to your perception and mood to always feel just right. Nuendo also has a More Creativity bundle, but you have to pay extra for that package. |

I completely agree, except you also need EVERY Nexus bundle (2000 USD) and all Vengeance Club Essentials (100 bucks a pop) if you want to make trance.
But remember, having these tools me and Cyro speak of will make you a master of music! Think Swedish House Mafia. |
